Guilt free chocolate, sounds like a dream, right? Well, I’ve got the brand to make all of your dreams come true, Loving Earth. Loving Earth bases the creation of all their sweet treats on three brand principles: health, sustainable, fair. Everything they put into their products serves our bodies, thanks health. They work day in and day out to make their production processes as sustainable as possible, obviously that’s sustainability. And they do all of this while emphasizing fair trade, of course that’s fair. What do those pillars mean when it comes to your chocolate? Loving Earth is vegan, direct trade, cane sugar free, soy free and dairy free with compostable packaging AND it’s freaking delicious! You’re welcome, guilt free chocolate! Below are my favorite ways to enjoy this sweet treat!
Coffee – I have recently become a coffee addict and the chocolate/coffee pairing is one of my favorites. Grab a few squares of chocolate to enjoy with your morning coffee or stir them directly into your coffee for a nice chocolatey twist. The chocolate above is Salted Carmel Chocolate.
Fruit and Nut Mix – If you are a snacker, fruit and nut mix is a perfect mishmash of all of the best flavors in one healthy snack. Salty, sweet and/or spicy, it just depends on what you mix in. It’s create your own destiny at it’s finest. My favorite add-ins are almonds, pistachios, dried cranberries, toasted coconut, dried goji berries and pumpkin seeds. The above chocolate is the Berry Crunch Hazelnut Mylk Chocolate.
Smoothies and Smoothie Bowls – Smoothies are one of the best ways to pack as many nutrients as possible into an easily digestible on-the-go meal. Why wouldn’t you add a few squares of chocolate for a nice sweet bit of texture. My smoothie obsession as of late is blueberry, banana and honey. But let me tell you, the only way to really taste this smoothie as it should taste, is by using homemade nutmilk. Here is a link to my post about easy to make homemade nutmilk. The Chocolate in this smoothie bowl is Creamy Coconut Mylk Chocolate.
